“Mr. Lendzian, meanwhile, plays a horny, homely Mina as well as a feminist female, Dr. Jean Van Helsing; he takes his Mina too far, not far enough for me, and I wish I saw more of that in this play. Lendzian as Mina or Van Helsing inspires fits of laughter. He has the audience in the palm of his very capable hands. He already presents as very masculine, but clothed in a flouncy dress and curly dirty blonde wig, Daniel as Mina is already drop-dead funny without uttering a single word. It’s his skill as a nimble comedian that elevates his performance and the entire show to the high levels of hilarity it reaches. Not mentioning his Van Helsing also would be a crime; he is so damn funny that he gleefully steals every scene he is in as her as well.”
