I’ve spent more than two decades performing classical and contemporary theatre on stages across the United States and internationally. From Shakespeare and musical theatre to contemporary drama and devised performance, my work has taken me from New York City to Florence, Italy, and back to the stages of Western New York.

About
I’ve spent more than two decades working as an actor, performing classical and contemporary theatre, musical theatre, and original devised work on stages across the United States and internationally.
My career has taken me from New York City to Florence, Italy, with performances at the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, North American Cultural Laboratory (NACL), Seattle Children’s Theatre, ZACH Theatre, Parallel 45, and FESTA Theatre in Florence. Along the way, I’ve explored everything from Shakespeare and Chekhov to contemporary comedy, experimental theatre, and musicals.
I earned my MFA in Acting, with an emphasis in Teaching Speech, from the University of Texas at Austin, where I received a full scholarship and teaching assistantship. The rigorous, three-year interdisciplinary program brought together advanced training in acting, voice, speech, movement, and the creation of new work. That foundation continues to inform my approach to performance, directing, and teaching.
My roles have included Trigorin in Stupid F**king Bird, Frau Schneider in Cabaret, Jonathan Harker in Dracula, Malcolm in Macbeth, and Albin in La Cage aux Folles.
Today, I continue performing in Western New York with companies including Second Generation Theatre, Irish Classical Theatre Company, and Shakespeare in Delaware Park. Recent roles include Malvolio in Twelfth Night and Mina/Dr. Van Helsing in Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors.
Whether approaching a familiar classic or developing something entirely new, I’m drawn to the possibilities of transformation through voice, movement, language, and imagination. My work as an educator and director continues to inform how I approach each new role.
